kelli's flowers

It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.-Alan Cohen

finally, sum photos of my own again    i took these today at my former boss' house   i go there 4x a week to water her lawn (she has two houses,  this one is 4 sale)    anyways, the flowers finally bloomed this month with all the rain    they're absolutely beautiful   the wind was blowin' enough to move the flowers   a couple of these photos are slightly out of focus because the wind   but i like the way these pics turned out   i definitely can use a few of them for my note kards ...did i tell you i made note kards out of sum of my photography   i'm selling them at our church's bookstore   if they sell well, i kan keep stocking them   anyways, i'm excited...

anyways, the rest of the day was spent running around doin' other errands   in the process i finally got a spare set of keys made for my motorcycle   the key guy looked familiar to me but i couldn't place him   finally i started asking him questions and we discovered that he was the batting coach on a softball team i played on about 17yrs or so ago   wow!   i didn't realize it had been that long ago since seriously playing ball    although i played a couple times since then, it was only for socializing and fun   17yrs ago was the last time i was seriously competitive...God how much i've changed since then  whew!!!

anyways, after errands, i came home for a much needed nap   it was a late nap, which means i'll be awake for awhile   that's ok, i've got to fold that darn laundry and wash another load   i get to sleep in manana if need be   It's all good!
