It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.-Alan Cohen
so today was another day for hiking i had lead feet my body wouldn't move, but i managed an hour again it was afternoon in the heat i must get my butt up early in the morn and catch the cool breeze i think it has more to do with the heat slowing my ass down than anything i did put the heavy pack back on, but that wasn't too bad another challenge for tomorrow and i think it's time i get back to my sunrises it's been awhile..
alas, i lay me down to sleep last nite in doing so, either Spirit spoke to me and/or i realized doing the class at church will go a lot farther than obtaining the photography degree at this time so now i'm leaning to doing Practitioner 1 class at church and holding off a little longer for photography i did order a catalog from NYI of Photography so once it gets here, i'll thoroughly check it out my d.a., Maggie, did make some good argumentive points about my photography like why am i really gettin' the degree and what will i do with it once finished i still want the degree, but with Prac 1 class, i can do something with that within a couple years plus i'm thinking i really want to learn photography and forego the drawing classes, the art history classes, and whatever other art classes required for the B.F.A. just not ready for that at the moment i'm young i still have plenty of time it is all a state of mind i do want more photography knowledge and skill maybe i'll do NYI for the next couple years i'll think about it, but the decision is made to do either school OR Prac 1, but not both this time around i need to have plenty time to get myself in shape for my Grand Canyon trip and basically all i've got on my brain is Grand Canyon..lol It's all Good..it'll all work out just as it should...
in the meantime, i uploaded all my photos taken within the past 2yrs that i've displayed her in aol journal onto my MySpace account for relatives to see was apprehensive at first, but it's easier to share with the family this way and my photos aren't copyrighted anyways (not really anyways) IF i ever get to copyrighting, they're not going onto MySpace and it isn't allowed there anyways mostly i just want people to enjoy my photos IF i ever make money on them great, if not, that's kewl too anyways, uploading them made me realize i need to get out and take more photos the above pic i just took recently while hiking i have a few more wild flowers and will post one at a time as i enter here as i do, i'm already thinking of a place to go shoot photos a place i always go and only have those pics on film somewhere so, i hope to head there soon (after the monsoon season subsides) on my bike for a nice leisurely ride and photos then i'll find another place:-)
